MY STORY
Working in mental health I have had many days where I have clocked out for the day
and felt depleted. Oftentimes dreading the thought of my personal to-do list. Feeling that I had no real-time for myself or to just be myself. The current pandemic amplified this feeling. Eventually, I had to make a choice. Continue to prioritizing other's needs over my own or begin learning to set health boundaries. I chose to implement and enforce boundaries and prioritize to my own physical, social, emotional, spiritual needs, and well-being.

I chose to recognize the things in which I could control and could not control and focus on those of that which I could. I had to examine my habits, analyze my self-care practices, and make some changes. I could no longer continue on autopilot and pour from a non-existent cup. I know what it feels like to feel when there is not enough time in the day. I know what it feels like to sit on guilt after desiring to rest when there is more work that needs to be done. I also know that reaching a healthy balance is vital and possible with some reflecting, prioritizing, guidance, and accountability. Let’s work together to help you put self-care at the center and improve your overall well-being. You will reach new heights!
A goal without a plan is just a wish.
